Team USA Routs Japan In World Cup Final

(Vancouver, British Columbia)  --  Team USA routed Japan, 5-2, in the Women's World Cup Final in Vancouver.  Carli Lloyd completed a hat trick in the first 16 minutes for the Americans, who avenged their loss to Japan in the 2011 Final.  Lloyd put the U.S. on the board just three minutes into the match.  Lauren Holiday and Tobin Heath also found the back of the net for the Americans in the highest-scoring Final in Women's World Cup history.
