(Baltimore, MD)  --  Portland Timbers defender Alvas Powell is returning to Portland after walking out on the Jamaican national team during the CONCACAF Gold Cup.  Powell was reportedly unhappy with his playing time.  The 20-year-old forward started the first 19 games of the season for the Timbers, who are facing Whitecaps FC in Vancouver on Saturday.
