The Mariners collected 14 hits, with Robinson Cano going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Nelson Cruz tagged a solo shot for Seattle, which finished 6-for-12 with runners in scoring position. Joe Beimel improved to 1-and-1 in relief and Carson Smith notched his eighth save. The Mariners snapped a short two-game skid. Neftali Feliz was rocked for five runs in an inning of work to fall to 1-and-3. J.D. Martinez and Yoenis Cespedes each hit two-run homers, while Nick Castellanos added a solo shot.
