(Detroit, MI)  --  The Seattle Mariners will try to salvage a split in their four-game series with Detroit tonight.  The Mariners' 9-4 loss last night happened despite two home runs by Nelson Cruz.  The Tigers' Nick Castellanos launched a grand slam homer off Seattle starter Mike Montgomery in the third inning.  The final game of the series will get underway in Detroit this morning at 10:08.
