(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners will try to even their series with Baltimore tonight, after last night's 3-2 loss.  Orioles pitchers struck out nine batters and held the Mariners to five hits.  Franklin Gutierrez had a solo home run in the second inning for Seattle, and Nelson Cruz kept his hitting streak alive at 20 games.  The M's and Orioles will play again tonight at Safeco Field at 7:10.
