(Portland, OR)  --  Central Iowa is advancing to the semifinals after controversy at the Little League Softball World Series.  Central Iowa defeated Washington's South Snohomish 3-2 in a one-game playoff.  It was scheduled after it was determined that Washington intentionally lost its previous game to keep Central Iowa from advancing and avoid a rematch.
