Mariners Avoid Sweep, Beat White Sox

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners' three-game losing streak is over, after an 8-6 win over the Chicago White Sox.  Nelson Cruz had a two-run double in the third inning and Robinson Cano had a two-run homer in the fifth to help lift Seattle to the victory.  The Mariners will host Oakland for a three-game series beginning tonight.  First pitch at Safeco Field is set for 7:10.
