(Eugene, OR)  --  There will be no fireworks at Oregon's season opener on Saturday.  Eugene city officials have denied the Ducks' request to shoot off fireworks after each touchdown and after the game.  The city cites the current dry weather making the area susceptible to quick-spreading wildfires.
