(St. Louis, MO)  --  Ryan Zimmerman homered twice and doubled in the go-ahead run in the eighth as the Nationals nipped the Cardinals, 4-3.  Jayson Werth added a solo blast to help Washington avoid a three-game sweep.  The Nats are six-and-a-half games behind the Mets in the NL East.
