(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners are reported to have a leading candidate to become the team's new manager.  Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports issued a tweet yesterday, quoting a source as saying Scott Servais is a strong front-runner for the job.  Servais is currently the special assistant to Los Angeles Angels general manager Billy Eppler.  Servais had an eleven-year career as a major-league catcher.
