(Portland, OR)  --  Portland State football is mourning the loss of linebacker A.J. Schlatter.  The redshirt freshman died suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday evening.  The Canby native passed away from complications developed after he had minor surgery on Friday.  Schlatter started 10 games for the Vikings in 2015 and ranked fourth on the team with 62 tackles.
