Griffey To Throw Out 1st Pitch In Mariners Home Opener

(Seattle, WA)  --  Former Seattle Mariners star Ken Griffey, Junior will throw out the first pitch in this Friday's home opener for the team.  Griffey is about to become the first player inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a Mariner, and will do the honors prior to Seattle's Safeco Field opener Friday night against Oakland.  Griffey was a Mariner for 13 of his 23 major-league seasons.  He was elected to the All-Star Game 13 times, won ten Gold Gloves, and hit 630 home runs during his career.
