(Portland, OR)  --  Portland State University broke ground on the new Viking Pavilion on Saturday.  The 50-million-dollar project will renovate the current Peter W. Stott Center to include a 15,000 square foot area for academics and advising.  A new 3,000-seat arena will also be built.  The project is scheduled to be completed by Spring 2018.
