(Houston, TX)  --  The Seattle Mariners have a half-game lead atop the AL West, after splitting their four-game series with Houston.  The Astros prevailed yesterday, 5-1, despite Robinson Cano hitting his 12th homer of the year for Seattle.  Mariners starter Hisashi Iwakuma allowed three runs on seven hits and struck out eight in five innings.  Seattle will host Tampa Bay to start a three-game series tonight.
