(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland Timbers' losing skid is over, after a 4-2 win over Cascadia rival Vancouver at Providence Park.  Diego Valeri and Jack McInerny each scored for Portland in the first half of yesterday's match, and the second half included scores by Darlington Nagbe and Dairon Asprilla.  It was the fourth home win of the season for the Timbers.  Portland will visit Chicago Saturday evening.
