(Secaucus, NJ) -- Five members of the Oregon State baseball team have been selected in the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft. Catcher Logan Ice was picked 72nd overall by the Cleveland Indians. Pitcher Travis Eckert was selected with the 223rd pick by Kansas City. Infielder Trever Morrison was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers with the 351st pick. The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up pitcher John Pomeroy with the 405th selection. Infielder Caleb Hamilton rounded out the Beavers who were drafted, as he was taken 693rd by the Minnesota Twins.
