(Detroit, MI)  --  The Mariners are falling further back of first place in the AL West after dropping a 4-2 decision to Detroit.  The Tigers put on a late-inning rally last night to overcome a 2-0 deficit.  Kyle Seager got his 15th home run of the year in the 6th inning with a two-run shot for Seattle.  The Mariners will play again at Detroit this evening.
