(Portland, OR)  --  Diego Valeri's second brace of the season helped power the Timbers past the Sounders, 3-1, at Providence Park.  Fanendo Adi capped the scoring with his 10th goal of the season.  Portland extended its unbeaten streak to nine games with the win.  The Timbers are 7-6-and-8 on the season with 29 points.  They'll host the LA Galaxy on Saturday afternoon at Providence Park.
