(Portland, OR) -- The Portland Timbers are looking at the possibility of adding more than three-thousand seats to Providence Park. The "Oregonian" reports the team is considering a new expansion plan that would add 35-hundred seats to the stadium, which has a present capacity of more than 21-thousand. There's high demand for Timbers season tickets, and the waiting-list currently contains 13-thousand names. Timbers President of Business Mike Golub says the team wants to expand Providence Park in a way that wouldn't adversely affect the current fan experience.
