(Portland, OR)  --  The Trail Blazers might be getting big man Meyers Leonard back sooner than initially thought.  Leonard underwent surgery on April 8th to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, with an expected recovery time of six-to-eight months.  The fifth-year power forward is ahead of schedule in his recovery and is hoping to be cleared for Portland's preseason game against the Lakers on October 11th.
