WA HS Football Players Upset About Forfeits

(Everett, WA)  --  The members of the Archbishop Murphy football team in Everett, Washington are upset that their third straight game is being cancelled by forfeit.  After the Wildcats won their first three games of the season by scores of 73-0, 59-0, and 38-0, their three subsequent opponents have forfeited their games against Murphy.  Those opponents say they don't want to take the field against the Class 2A Wildcats, whose players are, on average, taller and heavier than other kids in their age group.  Jerry Jensen, head coach at the Catholic private school, says he hopes changes can be made that don't allow teams to forfeit games three days before they're scheduled to be played.
