(Portland, OR)  --  Fanendo Adi scored the lone goal of the match as the Timbers edged the Colorado Rapids, 1-nil, at Providence Park.  Portland hosts Deportivo Saprissa on Wednesday in CONCACAF Champions League play.  The Timbers travel to Vancouver on Saturday to close out the MLS regular season.  A win against the Whitecaps would clinch a playoff berth.  The Timbers are in seventh place in the Western Conference with 44 points.
