The 4 year run of State girls Soccer Championship trophies sadly came to an end yesterday for the Summit Storm. In the State Semifinals last night, 11th ranked Silverton edged the Lady Storm, 4-3 to advance to the OSAA Class 5-A Title match where the Silver Foxes will meet top rated La Salle.
The Lady Storm were aiming for their 5th consecutive State Title, and 6th in the last 7 years.

And, the Summit boy’s soccer team also bowed out in yesterday’s Semis as 2nd ranked Woodburn defeated the Storm 1-zip in Overtime. Woodburn will meet Wilsonville Saturday for the Championship.

Congratulations to the Madras boy’s soccer team, however, as the White Buffs will play for the 4-A Title Saturday. 4th ranked Madras shutout Brookings, 3-zip and will face Newport Saturday at 1pm in Hillsboro for the Title.
