(Corvallis, OR)  --  Oregon State picked up its first conference win yesterday, clipping Utah 68-67 in Corvallis.  Stephen Thompson Jr. sank the winning basket and had 31 points with five three's in the winning effort.  The Beavers had lost 14-straight to open conference play but improved to 1-and-14 and 5-and-23 overall.  Oregon State will battle Stanford on Wednesday.
