(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers open the MLS regular season today versus Minnesota United FC at Providence Park.  The soccer club wrapped up its seven-match preseason slate with a win over the L.A. Galaxy last Saturday.  The Timbers are trying to rebound from missing the MLS playoffs last season.  First kick is slated for 6:30 p.m.
