(Portland, OR)  --  Fanendo Adi and Diego Valeri each scored twice as the Timbers trashed Minnesota United FC, 5-1, in the season opener at Providence Park on Friday.  Lawrence Olum also scored his for MLS goal for Portland.  The Timbers are on the road Saturday versus the Los Angeles Galaxy.
