(Glendale, AZ) -- North Carolina is cutting down the nets in Arizona. The Tar Heels outlasted Gonzaga 71-65 in the NCAA men's basketball national championship game. UNC won the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in school history. Joel Berry the Second scored 22 points for the Tar Heels, who closed the game on an 8-0 run. Nigel Williams-Goss put up 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Bulldogs, who appeared in the title game for the first time in program history. Gonzaga finishes the season 37-and-2.
