(Seattle, WA)  --  After beginning the season one-and-six, the Mariners are off to a good start in Seattle after a 6-0, home-opening shutout of Houston.  James Paxton allowed only four hits and struck out eight over seven innings yesterday.  Nelson Cruz went three-for-four with two RBI.  Seattle and Houston will play again tonight at Safeco Field.
