UW's Plum Picked 1st In WNBA Draft

(Seattle, WA)  --  University of Washington women's basketball standout Kelsey Plum is headed to the WNBA as the first overall draft pick.  Plum, who set scoring records and won numerous awards as a Husky point guard, will play for the San Antonio Stars.  UW center Chantal Osahor will play for Chicago, after the Sky chose her in the second round as the 21st overall pick.  Osahor was only the second player in program history to accumulate one-thousand points and one-thousand rebounds.
