(Oakland, CA)  --  The Mariners will try to bounce back tonight against Oakland, after losing to the A's to start their four-game series, 9-6.  Taylor Motter had two RBI for Seattle, slamming a two-run homer in the sixth inning.  Mariners starter James Paxton allowed five runs on nine hits over four-and-a-third innings.  The two teams will play again tonight in Oakland.
