(Seattle, WA)  --  Family members say former Portland Trail Blazer and current high-school basketball coach Brandon Roy is recovering well from gunshot wounds.  Roy was shot twice in late April outside his grandmother's home in the Los Angeles area as he shielded his six-year-old niece from gunfire.  Roy's cousin, Marvin Hall, says Roy continues to recover in the Seattle area.  Roy is the boys' basketball coach at Seattle's Nathan Hale High School.
