We start with Westcoast League summer collegiate baseball where the Bend Elks dropped all 3-games in a series in Corvallis against the Knights to begin the second half of League play.

Last night, Corvallis came from behind twice to down the Elks 6-4 at Goss Stadium-Coleman Field, the home of the Oregon State Beavers.

Corvallis won the opening game of the series Monday night, 9-1, and scored an 8-zip shutout win on the 4th.

Bend finished the first half of the W-C-L League play 12-and-15, 5-games behind South Division winner Corvallis.

The Elks are off today traveling across the Canadian border where they will meet the Victoria Harbor Cats Friday night. Bend returns home Monday night hosting Bellingham.
