(Renton, WA) -- In the wake of the injury to offensive tackle George Fant, the Seahawks are adding even more depth to their depleted offensive line. Seattle finalized a deal yesterday for Philadelphia Eagles' reserve tackle Matt Tobin. The 'Hawks are sending a 2018 fifth-round pick to Philly in exchange for Tobin and a seventh-rounder. The 27-year old lineman played in 42 games, starting 21, since arriving in Philadelphia as an undrafted rookie from Iowa in 2013.
