Seahawks Fined For Violating Concussion Protocol

(New York, NY)  --  The Seahawks are facing punishment for how they handled concussion protocol during their November 9th game against the Cardinals.  Seattle has been fined 100-thousand dollars for not going through the proper procedure with quarterback Russell Wilson.  They're the first team to be fined over this issue.  The Seahawks are not arguing against the punishment and stated they just didn't know the rule.  Wilson did not wait for officials to look at him in the tent before returning to the sideline after a referee called for him to get checked out.  He went back into the game after one play.
