Turning to prep baseball, Sisters hosts Junction City this afternoon in a showdown doubleheader in the Sky-Em Conference. The Outlaws, who have claimed 9-straight wins, can take over first-place with a sweep of the Tigers. First pitch is set for 3 today.

Elsewhere in 4-A Ball, in the Tri-Valley, 2nd-place Madras travels to league-leading Gladstone, and Crook County hosts Molalla.

From the 3-A ranks, La Pine hammered Glide in just 5-innings as the Hawks take a 10-zip win to remain in first-place by one game, and 16-and-12 overall, ranked 2nd in the state.

In the IMC today, Bend hosts Mt. View and Ridgeview greets Redmond with both games starting at 4:30.

  • Purcell Bridge CLOSED through April 2020.
  • ORE 22 remains CLOSED between Idanha and the junction with U.S. 20 (milepost 53-81) following a tanker truck crash that caused a fuel spill yesterday. The road will be closed to thru traffic indefinitely for the clean up of the fuel spill and recovery of the tanker.
