The Prep baseball and softball ‘regular’ season came to a close at all levels yesterday, locally, and in the IMC, Bend which already claimed the league crown doubled up the Cougars beating Mt. View, 10-5. Bend heads to the playoffs ranked 8th in the state with an 18-and-6 overall mark.

And, Redmond shoutout Ridgeview, 7-to-nothing, but Ridgeview nails down the 3rd and final playoff spot regardless of the loss yesterday. The Ravens will travel for a Play-In game later this week, and Summit as the #2 seed will host a game. Bend awaits the 16-team seeded Playoff bracket.

One game today sees  The Hawks of La Pine play a non-league warmup game at Madras today at 430 in Jefferson County. Both teams have playoff dates coming up.
