(Corvallis, OR)  --  Oregon State pitcher Luke Heimlich has been named the national pitcher of the week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.  The senior ace struck out 14 to help the Beavers take down then-second-ranked Stanford 6-2 in Corvallis.  Heimlich, who leads the nation with a 12-and-1 record, also earned Pac-12 pitcher of the week honors.
