(Seattle, WA)   --  The Mariners are set to open a four-game series with the Tigers tonight at Safeco Field.  Marco Gonzales is expected to make the start for Seattle and Matthew Boyd will take the mound first for Detroit.  The M's are third in the AL West Division at 24-and-18, two-and a-half games behind the first-place Astros.
