(Oakland, CA)  --  Mariners pitcher James Paxton is day-to-day with a bruised left forearm.  The lefty pitcher took a shot to the arm when Jed Lowrie connected on a line drive in last night's 3-2 loss to the Athletics.  X-rays came back negative, but Paxton was forced to leave the contest.
