(Corvallis, OR)  --  Starting Oregon State quarterback Jake Luton remains in concussion protocol.  He suffered the injury on the Beavers' opening drive last Saturday in the loss at Ohio State.  His status remains uncertain for the home opener Saturday against Southern Utah.  Coach Jonathan Smith said Conor Blount would start if Luton is unavailable.
