(Seattle, WA)  --  Saves leader Edwin Diaz gave up a Wil Myers run-producing double in the ninth as the Mariners lost 2-1 to the Padres in Seattle.  Robinson Cano homered in the third for the Seattle run.  The Mariners fell eight-and-a-half games behind Oakland for the second AL wild-card berth.
