(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers have two regular-season matches remaining.  After beating Real [[ ray-AHL ]] Salt Lake 4-1 Saturday in Utah, Portland is off this week.  Portland will face Salt Lake in a rematch on October 21st at Providence Park and close the season October 28th at Vancouver.  The Timbers are in fourth place in the MLS West with 51 points.  The top six teams qualify for the postseason.
