Servais Knows Mariners Are In For Rebuild

(Las Vegas, NV)  --  Mariners manager Scott Servais said the team is going a different direction next season at the baseball winter meetings in Vegas.   After winning 89 games last year, Seattle won't have Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz, Jean Segura, James Paxton and Edwin Diaz next season.  General manager Jerry Dipoto has dealt nine key players in six trades this off-season for prospects and younger players.  Felix Hernandez and Kyle Seager are the only remaining players from the team Servais took over in 2016.
