(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners have trimmed their roster to 25 ahead of Thursday's home opener against the Red Sox.  Seattle optioned outfielder Braden Bishop and reliever Dan Altavilla to Triple-A Tacoma.  Both could be top options to be called up during the regular season.
