(San Diego, CA)  --  Tim Beckham hit a two-run RBI single in the fifth for the Mariners as they fell to the Padres 6-3 in San Diego.  Erik Swanson gave up five runs on seven hits in five and two thirds innings for Seattle which have lost two straight.  Domingo Santana hit a sac-fly in the seventh to score Omar Narvaez for the Mariners final run of the game.
