(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners are essentially tied for first place in the American League West.  Seattle is 18-and-13 on the season, just percentage-points behind Houston for the division lead.  The Astros were shut out 1-0 last night at Minnesota to fall to 17-and-12.
