(Sandy, UT)  --  The Timbers won their third match in a row defeating Real Salt Lake 2-1 at Rio Tinto Stadium Saturday.  Sebastián Blanco and Diego Valeri scored a goal each to lift Portland in the win.  The Timbers improve to 3-5-and-1 with 10 points on the season.  Portland will travel to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC Friday.
