(Vancouver, BC)  --  The Timbers will travel to face the Vancouver Whitecaps Friday.  Portland is riding high after defeating Real Salt Lake 2-1 Saturday.  Sebastián Blanco and Diego Valeri scored a goal each to lift the Timbers in the win.  Portland is 3-5-and-1 with 10 points on the season.
