Oregon State Defeated By Creighton At NCAA Baseball Tournament

(Corvallis, OR)  --  The Beavers baseball team viewed the NCAA Tournament as an opportunity for a fresh start but had no luck as they were defeated by Creighton 4-1 at the Corvallis Regional.  Creighton's Evan Johnson and John Sakowski threw a combined four-hitter, ending Oregon State's national title defense.  The Beavers are now 6-and-2 in home regionals since the NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams, compiling a perfect 3-0 mark in 2005, 2006, 2011, 2013, 2017 and 2018 while failing to advance in 2014 and 2019.
