(Minneapolis, MN)  --  The Mariners gave up three runs in the eighth inning and lost 6-5 to the Twins in Minnesota.  Edwin Encarnacion hit a three-run homer in the third to give the M's the early lead.  Brandon Brennan took the loss.  Seattle has traded wins and losses in its last seven games.  The Mariners are last in the AL West at 28-and-42.
